A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a round medal with a relief of the Virgin Mary in profile with a halo, with the Latin motto 'VIRGO VIRGINUM' (Virgin of Virgins) surrounding. The reverse depicts a book or bible with a sheaf of lilies and the engraved monogram MG/GM. Stamped with the eagle's head for minimum 18 karat gold and French manufacture, along with an incomplete maker's mark.
