A French Art deco clip brooch in the manner of Rene Boivin.
This is a magnificent piece of jewelry from the French art deco period, created in Paris in the manner and style of Rene Boivin, between the 1928-1930, This geometric pendant-clip is very versatile and has been crafted with a pyramid shape, with parts in solid platinum and 18 karats white gold. It is embellished with a square cut carved from translucent natural rock quartz and is fitted at the reverse with a hinged tension element for fastening clip. This piece of jewelry can be wear as a dress clip or a pendant in a chain, a wire or a necklace
Gemstones: Mounted in the center over the rock quartz, with one sugarloaf cabochon cut (20 x 20 x 10 mm) of a natural black onyx.
Weight: 23.95 Grams, (15.32 Dwt).
Measurements: 29 mm by 29 mm by 19 mm (1.14 x 1.14 x 0.75 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French national control marks; the eagle head and the dog head for the assay of the 18kt gold and the platinum respectively and the maker's mark RB inside a lozange cartouche.
Provenance: A private collection in New York, USA. Acquired in 2022.
Literature: François Cailles, Rene Boivin Jeweller, quarter Book 1994, Pp-109,137 and 172 for a similar Pyramide pieces illustrated.
Collateral: This piece is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this French piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. The gemstones are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.

Sculptural modernist piece, created in France by the Parisian fashion designer Pierre Cardin, back in the 1970. This geometric sculptural ring has been crafted with minimalist patterns in solid sterling silver and yellow gold of 14 karats with high polished finish. This ring is part of the collection created between the 1960 and 1970, when the artist Jean Dinh Van was the creative head in the jewelry department of Pierre Cardin.
The design of these rings and other pieces of jewelry from these collections have always been inspired as a design pattern by the letters PC from Pierre Cardin's initials. Composite geometric shapes make up these letters, which although sometimes they are very obvious in the design, in others they are made in a more discreet way.
Black Onyx: Mount in a bezel setting, with 3 round flat cabochon cut carved from black onyx.

This is a very unusual sculptural brooch, designed by the Dutch artist Johan Gerard Van Loon and produced by the German porcelain company of Rosenthal, back in the 1970's. The beautiful abstract piece of art is made of white glazed white porcelain and black enamel. This is a lovely Rosenthal collector's piece no longer available at the Rosenthal retailers. It is a unique conversation piece to compliment any ensemble.

Johan Van Loon
Johan Gerard van Loon born in Rotterdam in 29 October 1934. He was a Dutch ceramist and textile artist. Van Loon studied textile design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie from 1952 to 1956, and from 1957 to 1960 at the Konstfack in Stockholm under Stig Lindberg. In 1958 he took pottery classes from the Amsterdam potter Jos Eppens van Veen, ] in 1960 from Thera Hofstede Crull, and in 1961 at the Camberwell College of Arts in London under Lucie Rie. In 1960 he took another study tour to Scandinavia and worked with Kylikki Salmenhaara for the Arabia porcelain factory in Finland. In 1962 Van Loon took part of an exhibition of six young ceramists from Amsterdam in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, together with Hans de Jong, Sonja Landweer, Johnny Rolf, Jan de Rooden...
