Locket pendant in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark. A collector's item, this opening antique pendant is oval in shape and adorned on the front with an enameled motif depicting a young woman in a setting and dress set with rose-cut diamonds. The back is smooth. A hinge on the side opens the antique jewel, which has 2 compartments inside to hold a souvenir, a photo, a lock of hair... Height : 4.3 cm approximately, width : 2.4 cm approximately, thickness : 9.4 mm approximately. Total weight of the jewel : 8,7 g approximately. Pendant sold alone, without its presentation chain. Authentic antique jewel - French work from the second end the 19th century. Missing enamel and tiny rose-cut diamonds: cannot be restored. Barely visible to the naked eye. This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k gold. The French pendant displays a central collet set oval enamel panel displaying the profile of a lady in vibrant white, yellow and pink clothing, against a royal blue background. This central enamel panel is surrounded by a pierced decorated gold frame, accented with simplified floral and foliate designs. The pendant is signed to the reverse with the maker's mark 'Le Pémen, Limoges'. This Edwardian enamel and gold pendant suspends from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 45.72cm/18' curb chain via an integrated ring loop attachment, and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian 0.03 carat and enamel, 18 karat yellow gold pendant/locket; part of our Victorian jewellery collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique locket has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The locket has an impressive rectangular shield-shaped form, surmounted with impressive scrolling leaf decoration. The anterior surface of the locket is embellished with a stunning and vibrant hand-painted miniature portrait depicting a Victorian woman with a floral headdress. The enamel portrait is ornamented with three impressive Dutch cut diamonds; two set to the floral headdress and one to the womans ribbon necklace. The exceptional enamel portrait is encompassed with yellow gold textured decoration, further ornamented with a paralleling black enamel scalloped border.
