About the Item
Cross in 18 karat rose gold, eagle head hallmark.
Magnificent antique cross in excellent condition, this regional antique jewel comes from Auvergne and more precisely from Puy en Velay. Characteristic of its period, this cross is flat, delicately chased and adorned with 3 ribbed gold pendants attached to the 3 ends of the cross. On one side, a motif depicting the Virgin Mary supporting the infant Jesus, and on the other, Christ on the cross. A large gold ring forms the hoop.
Height : 6.3 cm approximately, width : 3.5 cm approximately, thickness : 4.5 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 6,6 g approximately.
Pendant sold alone, without its chain of presentation.

This important antique rose gold pendant features a polylobed cross openworked with arabesques and radiating decorations, with a smooth gold cross with the same lines applied to the front. Four half-pearls decorate the latter on geometric settings, and a larger half-pearl is held in place with claws in the center.
