About the Item
Cross and chain in silver, crab hallmark.
Important antique Basque cross in silver, decorated with various symbols such as the grape, the olive branch and the dove. This regional cross comes with its own silver chain. The clasp is a safety hook.
Jewel signed H. Teguy.
Height of the cross : 7.5 cm approximately, width : 5.4 cm approximately, thickness : 2.3 mm approximately.
Length of the chain : 67 cm approximately, width : 4.3 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 43,4 g approximately.
Authentic antique jewel - French work of the early XXth century.
Our opinion : A very fine collector's item, this antique cross is signed by Bayonne-born silversmith Henri Teguy, who worked in the years 1900-1930. His work is very rare and collectable.
