About the Item
For sale is this marvellous mother Mary charm. This French charm depicts a lovely hand engraved Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus. This protecting medallion is crafted in 18 ct gold, has a bright and warm look and is marked with a rare french horse head hallmark. This particular hors-head hallmark is a French hallmark that was set in gold jewelry between 1838 and 1919. Meaning that this pendant is dating back to the French Napoleon III period during English Queen Victoria's reign.
The maker of this charm was a true artist, we are blown away by the beauty and detail of this charm. He chose for a star like cut out and floral hand made engravings. The raised border makes it appear even stronger and refined.
We love every little detail of this wonderful pendant. Its warm colour, its hand work and the fact that this pendant has a beautiful age. This pendant will be a wonderful addition to your antique collection or can be a perfect gift to protect the person you love most.
