A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as a round medal depicting the moment of Holy Communion, with Jesus Christ holding the goblet in one hand, and resting His other hand on the shoulder of the veiled recipient. Set with red, blue and turquoise plique-a-jour enamel to represent the stained glass window and halo. Stamped with the owl mark for French import and 18 karat gold, signed Becker, with an unknown maker's mark.
