A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a round medal depicting the Virgin Mary with plique a jour turquoise and blue graduated enamel surround. Signed G Bigard, stamped with the eagle’s head for 18 karat gold and French manufacture, and a partial maker's mark. Engraved to the reverse with a monogram for MB or BM, and the date 6 Juillet 1919.
