About the Item
A Georgian lozenge-shaped pendant, to the centre a rose-cut diamond-set interlocking double-heart mounted in silver, applied on blue enamel background surrounded by white enamel border embellished with eight small rose-cut diamonds and flanked with thirty-six pearls, suspended by a diamond-set pendant loop, all mounted in rose gold with locket compartment on reverse, circa 1790, measuring approximately 6x3cm, gross weight 14 grams.
This gorgeous Georgian pendant comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This pendant features a blue enamel navette shaped centrepiece, decorated in the middle with a romantic motif of two interlocking hearts tied together with a ribbon. The hearts are set with lively diamonds. The blue enamel pendant features a lovely border of pearls, which provide a perfect complement to the royal blue enamel and sparkling diamonds. A beautiful antique piece.
