About the Item
Here we have a rare and wonderful portrait pendant dating back to the Georgian era. This portrait is skilfully rendered by the artist, and the jeweller has set it within a sparkling border of antique cushion-shaped diamonds. A rare survival in great condition, this superb pendant/brooch would be the perfect addition to anyone’s antique jewellery collection. The back of the brooch is inscribed with the words "Ellen Rofous beloved grandfather Rich Harris died May 4, 1819".
The brooch has a later bale fitted on the top so that it can be worn as a pendant.
