This beautiful pendant chain necklace is late Georgian period, 1840 ca
Hand crafted of solid 18 Kt gold in a glorious workmanship
Marvelous in design tailored in a sort of heart shape with an inside buttercup floret Diamond set encircling the centre natural large sized half Pearl and frame of more Diamonds delineating the outer edge with a lovely natural Pearl drop swinging freely at the bottom
Pearls are natural salt water not nucleated
Diamonds are all rose cut and close back except the ones on the top tri foil shaped hook bail
Diamonds are 28 rose cut diamonds totaling approx 2.20 Ct (by Spread) not by the real weight – 2 natural Pearls of 12 mm. x 9 mm. and 12 mm. x 8 mm.
Versatile and multiple versions of use, it can be displayed as a brooch: pinned on a suit lapel, velvet collar or pocket, on hats, belts or evening gown, or as a pendant necklace made it of ready use with its dedicated chain and Diamond hoop latterly made, whatever inspires your fantasy and the mood of the moment it will be the joker of your special look
