About the Item
Cardo looks like a strand of lava suspended on chains — a mix of flowing organic shapes and something almost mechanical underneath. The silver form is plated with white rhodium, giving it a bright, crisp surface that still feels molten and irregular. Set into this structure are seven princess-cut fancy diamonds, sharp and bright, like clear “eyes” emerging from the textured metal. The whole piece feels like a meeting point between organic and non-organic matter, something melted together by accident and then kept exactly as it cooled down. It’s bold, sculptural, and unmistakably artistic — the kind of necklace that reads more like a small contemporary artwork than traditional jewelry. Cardo is a singular edition. The brand was founded in 2000 by a contemporary jewelry designer German Kabirski. It quickly attracted attention, mainly from people who don't like traditional jewelry and art critics. From the beginning, German Kabirski was all about being different. Our designer experimented with unconventional materials, invented new jewelry techniques, and ignored the thousands-year jewelry tradition to create his own authentic style. He combined diamonds with pebbles, precious metals with fur and feathers, and set stones in a way nobody thought possible.
