About the Item
Orthos looks like a random piece of broken lava caught in an artistically shaped silver frame. The base is silver plated with black ruthenium, giving it that cooled, volcanic feel — rough, dark, and irregular, as if it was chipped straight out of some ancient landscape. On the front sits a large octagon-cut Chrome Diopside, a deep, emerald-green stone that feels almost bottomless when you look into it. The contrast between the wild, lava-like texture and the precise cut of the stone makes the pendant feel like a collaboration between nature, gods, and human hands. Orthos is a singular piece — there is no second version. The brand was founded in 2000 by a contemporary jewelry designer German Kabirski. It quickly attracted attention, mainly from people who don't like traditional jewelry and art critics. From the beginning, German Kabirski was all about being different. Our designer experimented with unconventional materials, invented new jewelry techniques, and ignored the thousands-year jewelry tradition to create his own authentic style. He combined diamonds with pebbles, precious metals with fur and feathers, and set stones in a way nobody thought possible.
