About the Item
Spinels are the stars of tomorrow, the refraction of light and brilliance is unbelievably beautiful, here we have a violet untreated spinel from Burma with GFCO expertise / Thailand, approx. 2.35 ct, VS, AAA+, 8.69 x 7.40 x 5.00 mm, the pendant was made in a traditional goldsmith's factory in Valenza / Italy, with the Schmuckzicke logo, made of 750 rose gold, combined with a princess diamond approx. 0.16 ct and surrounded in a halo style by full cut diamonds totaling 0.23 ct, TW (fine white) / VS (very small inclusions), great brilliance, matching delicate link chain with four full cut diamonds, chic round anchor chain with the individually set full cut diamonds as a highlight, dimensions of the pendant approx. 15 x 10 mm, height 5 mm, approx. Weighs 4.10 grams, pendant integrated into the chain, approx. 44.5 cm long (shortening ring at 41 cm), unique jewelry, we only make individual pieces!
About the spinel: There is the spinel in the largest treasure chambers in the world, e.g. in the British crown jewels the "Black Prince Ruby", the "Timur Ruby", in the Persian crown jewels the "Samaria Spinell" or in the armory of the Moscow Kremlin, mostly confused with the ruby, but the spinel surpasses this from a certain size even in terms of brilliance and color intensity For a long time, synthetic spinel was sold commercially in our country, which is why it was wrongly given the image of a cheap gem replacement stone Like the diamond, the spinel comes in the Cubic crystal form, the chemical composition is a magnesium aluminate with high light refraction. Particularly beautiful spinel color qualities can be found in Burma, there is a very beautifully illustrated book by the spinel expert Yavorskyy about the most common mining areas (Terra Spinel) The spinel cannot be treated artificially, that's why this gemstone is only available naturally and untreated (no heating ung, no oils, etc.) and for this reason it is in demand by gemstone collectors and those seeking healing powers
