Rare GIA Certified Oval Cut Colour Change Untreated Ceylon Sapphire
Diamond Pendant Necklace. 7.28 Total carat.
A fine GIA certified 6.51 carat untreated Ceylon sapphire with rare colour change effect.
Changing colour depending on the light its viewed in. Very rare for natural gemstones, especially Sapphires. This sapphire changes colour from a violet blue in white daylight to purple in incandescent or artificial light. Has a very good oval cut and some small natural inclusions visible when looking closely, as shown in photos. Also has a small external 'natural' inclusion on the side only visible when looking at it directly.
Fully certified by GIA as natural, Ceylon origin. untreated and with colour change. Very rare and unique stone.
This sapphire is set in a bespoke made 18k white gold pendant with diamond accents. 0.77 Carat of natural round brilliant and marquise cuts with VS clarity and F/G colour. All with an excellent cut.
A finely made and unique piece.
The pendant is hanging on an 18" (45cm) curb chain. Which compliments this pendant well. Please message us for a quote without the chain or if you would prefer a different style or length of chain.
The pendant is brand new and never worn.
