Pendant necklace designed by Gianni Bvlgari.
This is a beautiful and and very stylish pendant-necklace created in Rome Italy by the designer Gianni Bvlgari. The modernist necklace has been crafted in solid white gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The design is composed by a hanging large pendant showing a roaring panther in profile mounted in a round carving of frosted rock quartz. It is displayed in a long chain with three stations to adjust the length and embellished with one-hundred-sixty-six natural earth mined diamonds.
Gianni Bulgari
He was a key figure in the expansion of the family jewelry business, leading Bulgari's internationalization in the 1970s and overseeing its strategic shift towards design and watches after the 1975 kidnapping of his father, Giorgio. He served as co-chief executive and CEO, opening stores in major cities like New York and Paris and developing iconic collections like "Parentesi". After disagreements with his brothers, he sold his stake in the company in 1987 to pursue other ventures, including his own jewelry brand, G.B. Jewels and Enigma.

Bvlgari
The company was founded in the late 19th century by Sotirio Bulgari, who was born in 1857 in Greece and was descended from a talented family of silversmiths. In 1884 he opened his first shop in Rome on the Via Sistina, and then in 1905 he moved to the actual flag's store in Via dei Condotti. Upon Sotirio’s death in 1932 his sons, Giorgio and Costantino, took over the business. They are credited with creating the highly distinctive ‘Bvlgari’ style, inspired by Greek and Roman classicism revival, the Italian Renaissance, and the 19th century Roman school of goldsmiths. The 1970s marked the beginning of Bulgari’s international expansion with the opening of stores in New York (the first overseas), Paris, Geneva and Monte Carlo.
