About the Item
From the Estate of renowned Hollywood Star Gloria Swanson, this is her personally owned 18k solid Yellow Gold French Cinema Award, measuring 1 3/8 inches X 3/4 inch and weighing 17.2 Grams. The front is a stylized embossed Film strip with a raised depiction of a Woman with flowing Hair., the back is engraved with the presentation to Mrs. Swanson and is dated 1950 the same year she was nominated for her most famous role in Sunset Boulevard. The leather box with satin lining is in good condition and shows signs of wear from being moved around over the years. A rare piece of Hollywood's Golden Age personally owned Object / jewelry.
