About the Item
Italian Jeweled retro pendant-brooch.
Beautiful convertible piece, made in Italy during the mid-century period, circa 1960. It was crafted, with retro organic patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with accents of white gold. This brooch was carefully made and all elements are assembled piece by piece and put together with a screw from the back.
The entire surface is embellished with a delicate Florentine finish. Suited at the reverse, with a hinged invisible loop of 6 mm to wear in a chain and a hinged horizontal pin bar, with a trombone lock to use as a brooch.
Accented in the center, with 12 round brilliants cuts diamonds, 0.52 carats. F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Mount, with 6 four-prongs settings that are holding natural round brilliant cut blue sapphires, 0.60 carats.
Have a total weight of 23.4 grams and a measures of 40 mm by 45 mm (1.58 x 1.77 Inches)
Stamped, with Italian gold assay hallmark, “K18 ITALY”.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this brooch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
