The Giovanni necklace was specially made for the person who gave the necklace its name: Giovanni Gesaldi. This is the reason why the back bears a double "G". I modeled the back of the pendant in a convex shape so that it can tilt from side to side according to the movement of the body and the gem captures and reflects more light. The shape of the pendant is asymmetrical and symbolizes the possibility to discover Beauty outside of the classical schemes; it suggests appreciating the unexpected in life. The necklace’s lines shaped in wax are material and reconnect the wearer to rooting to the Earth. I think Man is influenced by everything around him, especially by the stars to the smallest but powerful stone. The Giovanni necklace, like all my jewels, is conceived as an energetic object, helping the wearer to develop the talents with which he or she was born. Gems and metals form deep into Mother Earth and because of extremely high temperatures and pressure they became energy accumulators, thus they affect the person wearing them. Energies and vibrations of gems are powerful and I proved it with an experiment held in February 2021 conducted by Professor of anatomy Claudia Dellavia of the University of Milan (please contact me for more details). The Giovanni necklace belongs to the Struggle Collection; it is modeled by lost wax technique, represents the worldly and human element, the complexity of the daily quest.
