About the Item
Vintage sterling silver and 14K inlaid vanity case with chain loop by James E Blake.
James E Blake Co, of Attleboro, MA from 1889-1936, specialized in sterling silver novelty and vanity items. This vanity case has a mirrored interior. The exterior has an etched stripe design with inlaid yellow and rose gold stripes. There is an oval blue stone on the latch, and a short chain with a loop on the end. Both the chain and the loop have intricate etched designs. There is a gold square cartouche with an monogram. The monogram is EES.
Measures 1 3/8"" square, chain measures 2 1.8"" long, loop is 7/8"" in diameter.

Very nice condition with some slight surface scratching, tarnish and discoloration marks.
