This is a spectacular Antique Jade 20 Karat Gold Necklace with a magnificent 3 inch pendant with a carved Lavender and Green Jade in a bird and lily pad lotus flower motif of great beauty. The Jade is set in 20 Karat Yellow gold with three Lavender Jade pear shape cabochons at the top. The pendant is a two sided pendant with the carving of the jade on each side. The magnificent carving of the green and lavender jade is of the highest quality. It is fully three dimensional with extensive open work throughout. At the bottom is a resting bird. The carving continues with the lily pad lotus flower motif with beautifully carved curling tendrils in the leaves and vines. The jade has a shimmering translucence. The jade is mounted in a beautiful 20 Karat Yellow Gold frame with elegant decorative accents. The pendant has a gold clasp which opens and closes so it can be worn with or without the jade necklace. The necklace can be worn alone or with other pendants and the pendant can be worn on another of your favorite chains if desired.
The pendant hangs from a 17 inch chain of gorgeous natural jade beads. The beads are 8-9mm in diameter. The necklace clasp is 14 Karat Yellow Gold.
The necklace and pendant are each magnificent jewels. They can be worn together or individually. Worn together they create a magnificent jade statement piece of extraordinary beauty. Worn separately the jewels are elegant jewels of superb dramatic impact. They are treasures to be worn and enjoyed and to be passed on for generations.
The pendant is 3 inches (7.4cm) long including the bale. Without the bale it is 6.2cm long. The pendant is 1 3/8 inches (35mm) wide. The pendant is 9mm deep.
The pendant has a removable clasp so the beads can be worn alone or the pendant worn on another necklace.
