THIS IS A MAGNIFICENT AND RARE PENDANT NECKLACE WITH MATCHING EARRINGS BY THE RENOWNED YAQUI NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN ARTIST MICHAEL HORSE. THE RARE JEWELS ARE 14 KARAT YELLOW GOLD WITH A STUNNING TURQUOISE HEART SHAPED GEM IN THE CENTER.
The jewels were made for a renowned collector of Michael's jewelry in the 1970s.
Michael Horse is an award-winning Native American Yaqui jeweler who uses high quality stones and gold in his work. Finding Native American jewelry in gold is rare and these pieces are coveted by collectors the world over.
Michael Horse is also an award-winning ledger painter and actor with many roles in television and film. He is renowned for his role as Deputy Hawk in the ground breaking Twin Peaks television series.
The pendant is signed Micheal Horse with his horse hallmark.
The fabulous turquoise heart pendant and claw earrings are extremely rare in 14 Karat Gold. The design of the pendant and earrings are absolutely fabulous and reflects Michael Horse's superb artistry.
The backing and pendant loop of the pendant are silver as is typical of Michael's work.
