About the Item
A Victorian coral and diamond cross pendant, consisting of twelve round coral beads, each set to the centre with a rose-cut diamond all mounted in gold frame and suspended from a coral and diamond-set loop, circa 1860, measuring approximately 8 x 4cm, gross weight 16.2 grams.
This antique cross is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.
This lovely antique cross pendant comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This piece features a yellow gold frame, in which is set circular coral beads. Each coral bead is set with a glinting rose-cut diamond. The peach-hued coral provides a wonderful complement to the yellow gold and the diamonds, and this piece would look beautiful hung from a yellow gold chain.
