Modernist necklace pendant with a kunzite.
This is a statement necklace-pendant crafted in Italy in solid white gold of 18 karats with polished finish. It is very beautiful with contemporary look, classic patterns and embellished with one gem quality cushion cut vivid pink kunzite and sixteen natural earth mined white colorless diamonds. The pendant is fitted with concealed rings to slide the chain.
Kunzite
This gemstone is a variant of the mineral Spodumen. Kunzite was discovered in 1902, and was named after Tiffany
Co. main jeweler, George Frederick Kunz. It most often occurs in shades of light pink, but more vivid colors are possible and can reach rare shades of vivid purple to violet. The clear Kunzite gemstone is labeled spodumene and comes in a natural opaque form. It is expensive and known for its transparent and pale to clear crystalline structure. These stones are sometimes found in light yellow shades; therefore, it is also called yellow kunzite stone. Strongly colored kunzite is rare and thus correspondingly valuable. This gemstone is the youngest member of the Spodumen family, to which the green or yellowish-green hiddenite, discovered about a quarter of a century earlier, also belongs.

Diamonds: Mount in bezel settings, with 16 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 0.96 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.
Kunzite: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 cushion step cut (25 x 21 x 10 mm) of a natural kunzite with a weight of about 36.73 carats, calculated by formula.
Birthstone: Kunzite for the month of February.
Weight: 24.6 Grams, (15.77 Dwt).
Measurements: The pendant is 32 mm by 28 mm by 13 mm (1.26 x 1.10 x 0.51 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the 18 karats white gold and signed as follows, "18kt".
Collateral: This pendant-necklace with kunzite is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Collateral: This necklace is accompanied by a certificate appraisal prepared by a GIA certified gemologist stating all the characteristics of this piece of jewelry, the exact description of the gemstones and the today's market replacement value.
