Monet lovely gold tone and grey enamel wheat chain necklace, with a dark green cabochon stone. The necklace is in very good condition.
Measuring length approximately 41 cm / 16.1 inches. The centrepiece is maximum width 4 cm / 1.5 inches.
This quality Monet necklace is circa 1980s.
Monet was founded in 1929 by Michael and Jay Chernow in Providence, Rhode Island, and became one of the leading names in costume jewellery design during the 1940's. By the 1980's Monet was producing jewellery for Yves Saint Laurent, and is still a successful company today.
