Finely detailed natural Ethiopian fire opal
diamond pendant
necklace crafted in 850
900 platinum.
Natural opal measures 16mm x 9mm (estimated at 4.55 carats), accented with an estimated 0.32 carats of diamonds. The diamonds are estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity. The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
The Ethiopian opal is full of color and fire (unfortunately opals are difficult to photograph and the colors of the opal were not captured in the images). The color matrix is vivid with green, red, orange, and yellow, framed with diamonds in the pear shaped mount. The necklace is great worn alone or layered with your fine jewelry from any era.
The necklace is in excellent original condition.
