Navajo Turquoise and Pearls Necklace With Sterling Silver Cross Pendants
This vintage Navajo necklace features authentic turquoise stones, 26 pearls, and two carved cross pendants in sterling silver. The necklace is attributed to the jewelry designer T. Foree. This striking piece will make a statement and is a highly collectible item.
In Navajo culture, the color turquoise represents happiness, luck, and health. The black, white, blue, and green hues found within the turquoise stone symbolize the colors of the natural world. Additionally, a horseshoe-shaped symbol, known as the “Naja,” frequently appears in traditional Navajo jewelry.
