About the Item
Owl coin from ancient Greece made into a pendant in 18kt gold. This coin is from Peiraieus, just south of Athens, circa 435 to 370 BC. There is an owl, with wings spread, standing facing on shield. There is fine and detailed work in gold surrounding the perimeter of coin with tiny spheres. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin. The bail is included in the height measurement. Measurement is 7/8"W x 6/16"D x 1.5"H
