About the Item
Paloma Picasso (daughter of famed artist Pablo Picasso) was born April 19, 1949 in Vallauris France. Surrounded by artists from a very young age, Paloma worked as a costume designer when some of her jewelry creations caught the attention of critics. She then went on to design jewelry for Zolotas, Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany
Co. She eventually launched her own line, creating perfume and designer accessories.
A lovely Estate necklace designed for Tiffany
Co. by Paloma Picasso! Crafted in sterling silver, this simple yet striking piece features a lovely swirling heart pendant. The surface of the heart is smooth and simple, and the piece is accompanied by a dainty sterling silver chain. The chain secures with a spring ring clasp. The back of the pendant is stamped with various markings, including both "© Paloma Picasso" and"TIFFANY
CO." signatures, and a "925" purity mark. The pendant necklace is accompanied by an authentic Tiffany
Co. blue pouch. Both romantic and modern, this designer necklace is perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16" long. The heart pendant measures 3/8" wide and 1/2" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. The chain and spring ring clasp are both secure and in working order.
