About the Item
The original and by far the best Starmap pendant featuring the stars in the Eastern sky seen from the exact time and place of your recipients birth.
This beautiful pendant shows the stars in the sky at your exact moment in time - any special moment is perfect, an 18th or 40th birthday, your first kiss, the day you passed your exam - whatever you need. It's a beautiful piece showing the constellations and stars at your very own moment.
I wanted the pendant to feel like a piece of beautiful treasure, like a solid gold talisman in your hand, so it has a smooth beautiful rounded shape.
These beautiful and elegant pendants are highly personal and charming, and so perfectly custom - they really are written in the stars.
I hand make all these pendants one by one in my Devon studio in England. I have a special piece of software that can show me the stars at the exact moment you choose, from an exact location. I can do future or past stars. I look at the stars mapped out and then I hand draw the star map in photoshop. I make your pendant from our own gold alloys and then I laser engrave the star map I have made onto your pendant for you so you have a unique design that no-one else in the world will ever have.
I send them out with a fabulous printed out copy of the star map, and a little certificate which shows your star date and they come beautifully packaged in a leather box with my branded ribbon.
My pendants come in a range of gold carats and colours to fit any style and budget. The one shown here is 18 carat peach gold.
They measure 16/17mm and have a lovely shape, like a Go! Stone if you have ever held one, or a minstrel. (British chocolate sweet!)
Available in 14 carat rose white grey or yellow, and 18 carat rose gold, yellow gold, white gold, green gold or grey gold. This pendant is 18ct gold and will come on a match 18ct chain.
I set each one with a diamond or birthstone - please just choose what you prefer on your order notes. If you do not choose the stone I will set with a diamond.
You can also choose to have additional engraving on the back, you can choose a font if you want but I like Lucida italic.

This is a tiny little dainty periwinkle shell cast into solid gold and is perfect for all the sea and beach lovers in your life. It's so pretty to see such a delicate thing cast into our lovely silver and it makes such a smashing necklace. The textures of the shell are all visible in the casting which we have very carefully finished to protect the look and feel of the original shell.
These tiny cowrie shells are quite common all along the coastline here in Devon and we found this absolute beauty of a miniature one here on the beach at Bantham in the South Hams in Devon. This is a place with a special feeling, this part of Devon is remote and wild and really, really beautiful. Its one of the most peaceful places I have ever been, but has lovely wild seas.
