This is a stunning museum quality Victorian - Edwardian Platinum Diamond Lavaliere Pendant with 21 sparkling white Old Mine Cut Diamonds of great beauty in a gorgeous platinum openwork filigree leaf motif pendant necklace. This original Victorian/Edwardian/Belle Epoque pendant dates to c1890-1920. The detail on this extraordinary lavaliere is the very best and it is platinum - how rare! Look at the openwork design, the delicate leaf motifs, the swirls and the cannetille beading around the borders.
And the diamonds are absolutely incredible. The central diamond is gorgeous. It is white white white and eye clean. It is an Old Mine Cut Diamond and is approximately .2 CT and 4 mm in diameter and has the wonderful fire and sparkle of the antique gems. It is surrounded by two side diamonds and 18 further old mine cut diamonds set in the platinum openwork design. The bale is a stunning scallop form motif.
