A French pendant by Roland Schad, crafted circa 1960–1970 in solid 18ct yellow gold and set with natural rough emerald crystals. The sculptural design captures the organic movement of molten gold enveloping the uncut emerald cluster, creating a bold, textural form typical of post-war Parisian goldsmithing. Engraved to the reverse Roland Schad Paris E301, the piece reflects the designer’s signature fusion of raw gemstones with abstract gold forms.
