About the Item
This giant rubellite tourmaline and spinel pendant features a spectacular 81.58 carat rubellite cabochon! The oval rubellite is a beautifully proportioned, crystalline gem that displays vibrant reddish pink and purplish pink color, depending on the light. The pendant itself has been crafted entirely by hand in 18k yellow gold by our Master Jewelers in Los Angeles. The upper bezel is polished to a mirror finish and hand-decorated with a scalloped pattern outlining the rubellite, while the lower bezel shimmers like an elegant gem-encrusted crown, textured by hand with intricate lines creating a satin-like finish. Bright princess-cut pink spinels in individually handcrafted settings adorn the sides of the lower bezel. More pink spinels are channel set into the front of the bail which has been beautifully finished with our "SAROSI" signature. The elegant, open scroll pattern on the back of the pendant is a perfect example of the rare artisan skills our jewelers have mastered - craftsmanship and talent that is rarely seen in today's modern world. The pendant measures 2" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant. The handmade, 18K yellow gold chain shown in the photos (item NCK-1286) is adjustable at 16, 17.5
