About the Item
This vintage 14k gold Scorpio pendant by Marvin Hime is a bold and thoughtful take on astrological symbolism. The necklace is crafted entirely from solid 14k yellow gold and carries a substantial total weight of 112.1 grams. The necklace features a large sculptural Scorpio pendant paired with a long Italian figaro chain.
The pendant measures 2 inches in diameter and weighs 59.7 grams. It presents a three-dimensional Scorpio motif, rendered in high relief and finished with symbolic detail. On the reverse, the pendant is signed After Rodin, M. Hime and engraved with the Scorpio zodiac glyph, the October 23 – November 21 date range, a © mark, and the 14K hallmark.
The pendant is suspended from a 29-inch figaro chain that weighs 52.4 grams. The chain is crafted in Italy and secured with a box clasp that bears the hallmarks 595, OE, and Italy, confirming its 14k gold composition and origin.
