About the Item
An important, large faceted citrine and 18 karat gold collar, by the highly collectible Swedish modernist designer, Sigurd Persson, 1960.
The collar necklace wherein the light floods into the stone through cutouts in the gold surround measures 16.5" long with a 1.5" pendant. Signed and dated with Swedish hallmarks for 1960.
This stunning necklace is a rare and original vintage work in excellent condition. An acclaimed modernist designer, Persson's work is held in several museums including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.
