About the Item
This sterling silver cross pendant by Santa Fe silversmith Dan Dodson features seventeen turquoise cabochons sourced from various mines, accented with multiple sterling silver raindrops. The cross measures 2 1/8” × 2 3/4”. A ½” striated bale brings the total length to 3 1/4”, with a ½” bale diameter.
About the Artist
Dan Dodson is a Santa Fe–based silversmith whose work is strongly influenced by Native American design traditions. For more than twenty years, his creations have been celebrated as wearable art. He frequently incorporates turquoise, spiny oyster, onyx, and sterling silver into his pieces, and his multi-stone turquoise crosses have become one of his signature styles.
