A magnificent High Victorian pendant crafted in solid 15K gold and showcasing an exceptional onyx hardstone cameo carved in high relief. Dating from circa 1860–1880, this architectural pendant embodies the finest elements of the Etruscan Revival and Grand Tour periods, with rich goldwork, sculptural detailing, and a commanding silhouette.
The centerpiece is a beautifully carved white-on-black onyx cameo, depicting a classical profile with exquisite attention to the curls, drapery, and facial modeling—hallmarks of 19th-century Italian craftsmanship.
