Rare Mid-19th Century 5.0 carats Old Mine Cut Diamonds and Persian Turquoise Star of David Pendant.
Between the span of the Victorian era and our present day, the world has seen its fair share of a kind of ugliness that, by all rights, should have ensured the destruction or disappearance of a piece like this. And yet it has survived for over 150 years, having traversed the perilous sea of time to arrive unblemished in the harbor of the 21st century.
This treasured Star of David charm is thought to be a one-of-a-kind commission piece from the Mid to latter half of the 19th century. The star itself is made up of Persian turquoise marbles, while five carats worth of old mine cut diamonds surround it on all sides, granting it a celestial sparkle.
Rich with history and carrying with it an air of the sacred, it is an astounding treasure to be cherished as it continues its journey through the generations.
