Indulge in a gorgeous and very rare antique Bulldog Dog Victorian Essex Crystal, also referred to as a reverse crystal intaglio, Pendant with an exquisitely rendered carved and enamel image of a Bulldog Dog in 14 Karat Gold. The Essex Crystal pendant is in superb condition. There is some reflected light off the crystal in some of the photos, but the piece is in perfect condition. The Crystal is Rock Crystal. The image of the bulldog dog is hand carved into the reverse of the crystal and then hand painted with enamel. The pendant is the work of a master artisan! The domed crystal is set in a beautiful 14 Karat Gold bezel. The Essex Crystal dates to the 19th - early 20th Century. We love our antique dog jewelry and our Essex Crystal jewels and this is one of the most beautiful pieces we have seen. The charming face of the dog is an absolute delight and will dance delightfully around the neck of the lucky wearer. The jewel is a fabulous treasure for lovers of the Bulldog breed, dog lovers, Essex Crystal collectors or alumni of Yale University, Georgetown University or Georgia!
