Indulge in a magnificent antique Victorian Coral Suite including Necklace, Bracelet and Brooch of hand carved Coral with bouquets of flowers, fruit and leaves set in 14 Karat Gold. The carved coral set is a masterpiece of artistic expression - the flowers, the fruit, the leaves and the incredible three dimensional designs create masterpieces of Victorian jewelry artistry. The size of the coral bouquets is absolutely extraordinary. The jewels radiate the beauty and mystery of nature that so enamored the Victorians. The carving and design of the jewels is museum quality. The condition is superb. How rare to find the three matching necklace, bracelet and brooch together.
The Necklace has a double strand festoon design with a magnificent pendant with a pendant drop.
The Bracelet has a flower bouquet set on a stunning link bracelet.
The Brooch is an exuberant bouquet of carved coral.
It is so very difficult to find these antique magnificent coral jewels and we are so thrilled to present this stunning example. The coral is set in 14 Karat Yellow Gold. The suite dates to the Victorian period, circa 1840-1880.
The necklace is 20 inches long. The central drop is 3 inches (8cm) wide and 2 1/2 inches (6.5cm) tall.
The bracelet is 7 1/2 inches long. The coral bouquet is 2 inches by 1 3/4 inches and is 1 inch tall.
The brooch is 2 1/2 inches (65mm) wide and 1 3/4 inches (40mm) tall. The coral carving is 26mm deep.
Together the 3 pieces weigh 123 grams.
