About the Item
Dating to the 1880s, this beautiful necklace is made from 15 carat rose gold and silver. The diamonds are a mix of old cuts and rose cut diamonds which total to 2.00 carats. The old cut diamonds, which are hand cut, are estimated as G in colour and VS in clarity. There are two small pearls, each measuring 4.5mm, one in the centre of the pendant and the other hanging down. It hangs on an 18 carat white gold chain which is modern. The motif and design are typical of the era and it is beautifully handmade.
