Designed as a highly rendered fan suspending from optional filigree bale
Fan is deigned with pierced sticks at base with ornately decorated pleats
Engraved with fanning feather motif filigree and an enamel scene
Painted to depict blooming florals near a pond with foliate surround
Enamel is opaque white, blue, red, green and yellow ion color - minimal loss
Accented by rose cut diamonds along edge and at base
Bead and bezel set - quality consistent with antique age
Suspending 2.0 mm round seed pearl beaded fringe
White to cream in body color with strong iridescence
Fan is hinged and opens to reveal a concealed double-sided locket
Front is engraved with fanning texture throughout
Centering an oval shaped compartment with glass cover
Centering a sepia photo of a Staffordshire Terrier
Reverse is engraved with decorous fanning motif along edges
Centering the opposite side of the oval compartment
Also with glass cover and centering written script
Stating 'Election Day nov. 4. 1884....' - referencing the election for 22nd president which Grover Cleveland won
