This is an absolutely gorgeous Victorian - Edwardian Flower Charm Necklace with Flowers adorned with Diamonds, Pearls, and Enamel. The delicate romantic necklace is a reflection of the Victorian's love of flowers, the language of flowers, and nature inspired jewels. The necklace has five gold charms that float beautifully around the neck. The flowers are adorned with Old Mine Cut Diamonds, Enamel and Pearls. The flowers hang from a 14 Karat Gold Chain.
The design of the necklace inspired by the forms of nature is exquisite and a treasure to wear and to behold. The Victorian - Edwardian charms date to circa 1850-1900. The delicacy of the flower creations and the exquisite use of fine antique diamonds, pearls and enamel create a magical necklace to be worn through the ages.
From left to right the flowers are as follows:
A four leaf clover with a central pearl.
A wishbone adorned with Forget-Me-Not flowers decorated with robin's egg blue and cream colored enamel with a central Old Mine Cut Diamond.
A grape cluster with pearl grapes and a sparkling Old Mine Cut Diamond.
A French motif acanthus leaf design with a central Old Mine Cut Diamond and four pearls which may very well be natural.
A four leaf clover with central pearl.
The charms range from 10 - 14 Karat Gold.
The necklace is 16 inches (40.5cm) long. The length of the necklace can be easily adjusted if desired.
The central grape charm is 18mm by 16mm.
