THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 17 INCH ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BELLE EPOQUE BOHEMIAN GARNET AND PEARL NECKLACE WITH FLOWER FLORETS IN THE CHAIN OF SUPERB DEEP RED WINE GARNETS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY DATING TO CIRCA 1900-1930. THE NECKLACE IS MAGNIFICENT!!!
This is a stunning garnet necklace with pearl accents. It has a beautiful flower medallion motif with three magnificent central oval garnet medallions. The center oval flower is four layers deep of magnificent blood red garnets and is adorned with a pearl halo within the garnets. The garnets are of the most gorgeous deep red color and they are vibrant magical gems! The chain is fully made of floral medallions with clusters of faceted round and oval shape garnets in each flower.
The necklace is in wonderful condition and all garnets appear original to the piece. The necklace is 17 inches long. The center flower is pendant is 1 1/4 inches (30mm) wide by 1 inch (26 mm) tall. The smallest flowers are 9 mm wide. The garnets are set in lovely silver gilt as was the custom of the period for the garnet jewels.
