About the Item
Here we have a remarkable creation taken from the Victorian era. This unique antique pendant has been crafted from a rich 18ct yellow gold into the shape of a shield which plays host to a natural pearl and diamond set buckle motif. Rich sky blue enamel pervades the backdrop alongside ornate fauna and floral engraving which continues prominently on the reverse side where we find a tiny locket compartment.
A one of kind piece exemplifying the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with the period.
