About the Item
This is a bold cross made from one piece of banded agate.The natural lines of the agate accentuate the form of this banded agate gold cross c. 1860, Made in Italy with 10kt gold cardinal points the cross is graphic and distinctive. The gold is stepped and ends in a crenellated collar much like Green architecture. There is a pin or the reverse and a bale for wearing it as a pendant. Cross collectors come from three groups. A small gold ball tops the collar. One are antique jewelry collectors. Another religious artifact collectors and a third those who love the form. The condition is perfect. Size 5.4 cm x 4.1 cm without bale. Weight 10 grams
