This is a gorgeous Victorian - Belle Epoque Picture locket pendant with a stunning Roman Neoclassical Warrior set with a .15 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond. The locket is the most stunning 14 Karat Gold. The wonderful image of the Warrior is beautifully done with deep repousse work. The face is absolutely stunning with long flowing hair and a wonderful helmet! This is one of the finest lockets we have seen and with the magnificent neoclassical image that is so in demand today. The diamond is a wonderful antique Old Mine Cut Diamond of approximately .15 Carat, and full of the sparkle and radiance of the antique diamonds that we just love. On the reverse is a beautiful Victorian engraved monogram. The locket is a lovely size - 1 1/8 inches long not including the bale. It opens to reveal the photo compartment with place for 2 photos. A wonderful jewel to place your most treasured momento! The perfect picture locket dating to the Victorian - Belle Epoque period, circa 1850-1900.
