A stylish sterling silver chain from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This flexible snake chain has articulated movement, and is quite substantial in length. Each smooth, cylindrical link interlocks with the next, forming a sleek necklace. The chain features a complementary watch swivel clasp, which would allow the wearer to attach a favorite charm, pendant, or pocket watch! Thanks to its generous length, the necklace can be easily slipped on and off overhead. A versatile everyday piece, it would make a stylish addition to any collection!
Measurements: The chain measures 40" in total length. The watch swivel clasp hangs 7/8" long at the center.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the sterling links, which have flexible articulated movement. The watch clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
