About the Item
Charming vintage 18k yellow gold Étoile d’Amour pendant by the Lyon-based jeweler Perroud, featuring a star motif set with a small synthetic ruby of approximately 1.5 mm. The finely engraved rays radiate from the stone, illuminating the inscription “Étoile d’amour” (“Star of Love”). Its ornate filigree border adds grace and lightness, typical of Perroud’s romantic designs. Measuring 2 cm in diameter and weighing 1.67 g, this piece bears both the French eagle head hallmark for 18k gold and the maker’s mark “CP.” A poetic symbol of affection and fine French craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
