This magnificent vintage 1930s 9ct Gold Heart Locket is a timeless piece of jewellery that exudes romance. Dating back to the Victorian era, the locket is associated with romantic love and has been used as a token of significant moments in people's lives. Even to this day, it still makes a lasting impression, captivating admirers everywhere it goes.
Crafted from 9ct gold, this beautiful heart-shaped locket features delicate engravings on each side and opens to reveal two compartments for preserving two of your most treasured memories.
The locket hangs from a new 9ct gold chain. The locket is a gold 'back and front' locket which means the front and back of the locket are 9ct gold while the inside is brass. Brass was used at this time for strength, lockets are opened and closed which can weaken the closure, brass solved this problem at the time.
